People Searches is a strong right to privacy supporter. The following, in very short and simple terms is our privacy policy.
Visitors - People Searches does not keep records or data bases on our visitors. We do not maintain a record of or record the IP addresses of our visitors. If a visitor contacts us via e:mail we process the contact and once the contact has been responded to we delete the e:mail, unless it pertains to a legal matter. Visitors are not required to register or log in therefore no other information is obtained by People Searches.
Submitters - Certain information is required for a site to be submitted, however once the site has been listed or rejected, the only information maintained by People Searches is the information show in the site listing. Payments made to People Searches for site reviews are not processed by People Searches but are instead processed by an outside payment processing service, currently PayPal. Advertising - In order to cover the cost of maintaining People Searches the site contains a small amout of advertising. We are not responsible for any information obtained or maintained by the advertisers. Some advertising companies like Google may use information (not including your name, address, email address, or telephone number) about your visits to this and other websites in order to provide advertisements about goods and services of interest to you. If you are interested in their privacy policies, we suggest you check directly with any advertisers you deal with.
